Brain Tumor Grading Explained: What "Grade I to IV" Really Means

The WHO Brain Tumor Grading Scale

Grade IV (High-Grade)

Behavior: Highly aggressive, rapidly growing, and malignant.

Characteristics: Tumor tissue exhibits rapid cell division, abnormal blood vessel growth (vascular proliferation), and regions of dead tissue (necrosis). Glioblastoma is the most common Grade IV brain tumor.
