Kevin Cousin, PA

    Kevin is a physician assistant with several years of orthopedic/trauma experience. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University where he earned his bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology. While at Penn State, he also played wide receiver on the football team under legendary coach Joe Paterno.

    He went on to complete his physician assistant studies at Long Island University, Brooklyn. Kevin began his physician assistant career working for a private orthopedic practice based in northern New Jersey and Manhattan. There he cultivated a variety of clinical and surgical skills including sports injury treatment, joint replacement, acute fracture care, and arthroscopies. Additionally, Kevin was trained in concussion management.

    In 2017 he started at the Center for Advanced Sports Medicine Knee and Shoulder. There he continued to provide the highest quality care for all patients using cutting edge technology centered around cartilage restoration. Moreover, he also assisted in a research study that was published in the Journal of Orthopedics.

    In July of 2023 Kevin joined the IGEA team and transitioned into neurosurgery. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care and expanding his skillset.

    For nearly a decade, Kevin also has been coaching and training student-athletes in the nearby public schools.
