IGEA Brain, Spine & Orthopedics offers specialized neuropsychological services to individuals who are experiencing changes in thinking and/or behavior. Most neurologic and neurosurgical conditions are also present with cognitive, behavioral, or personality symptoms that may go overlooked. These symptoms may include forgetfulness, inattention and distractibility, difficulty with word retrieval, poor problem-solving, depression, and/or anxiety, which may interfere with the patient’s daily functioning. At IGEA, our neuropsychologist will complete a comprehensive evaluation and work with your referring provider by assisting them with diagnosis and offering helpful treatment recommendations.
It goes without saying that you and your loved one are entitled to quality care. Anything less than that isn’t —and never should be— optional. This is the principle by which Dr. Anthony De Marco of IGEA Brain, Spine & Orthopedics operates his practice, and it guides his every interaction with his patients and their families.

Learn More About Our Neuropsychological Services
Dr. De Marco empathizes with his patients, which is why he employs a consultative, customized, and empirically-based approach to the evaluation process based on the unique needs of the individual.
Consultations typically begin with a conversation, as Dr. De Marco meets with the patient and conducts a comprehensive review of their medical and psychological history. Next, the patient undergoes standardized, objective testing to learn and understand more about the patient’s cognitive and emotional functioning. From there, a feedback session is scheduled to review the findings and recommendations for care.
