Dr. Isha Gupta is a board certified neurologist at IGEA Brain & Spine specializing in headache, movement disorders and issues specific to women with neurological disease. Prior to her position with the practice, Dr. Gupta served as a member of the Housestaff Quality Council at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a member of the Resident Committee at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
She completed a residency in adult neurology at Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as an internship in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She further pursued clinical research in movement disorders at the New York University School of Medicine Dysautonomia Center. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine and her bachelor’s degree in psychology (minoring in chemistry) from VCU with honors. She is also an alumna of the London School of Economics.
Dr. Gupta has published and given presentations across the country on various neurological topics. She is fluent in medical Hindi and Punjabi.
