Dr. Mingi Choi, M.D. FAAPMR
Dr. Choi was raised in NYC and attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science, followed by undergraduate studies at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a combined BS/MD accelerated program in NYC.
He then received his MD from the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. Following an internship at the New York Beekman Downtown Hospital, he completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mount Sinai Hospital with rotations at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, Beth Israel Medical Center, Elmhurst General Hospital and the Bronx VA Hospital.
Dr. Choi is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow of American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is on the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
Dr. Choi has over 30 years of experience in the conservative and interventional care of the spine. He has been recognized by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor in the Metropolitan area. He has been a member of the North American Spine Society for 25 years and a member of the International Spine Intervention Society for over 20 years. He also has also been performing EMG/NCV studies for over 30 years.
