Dr. David Poulad was recently called upon to comment on a recent study featured by The Feast on Bravo TV’s website. The study suggested that those with specialized sensory training –such as sommeliers–have increased volume in areas of the brain that are typically affected by neurodegenerative disorders. As a result, these individuals may have a decreased risk of developing these conditions.
