ADAM LIPSON, MD LECTURES IN CHINA

Dr. Adam Lipson took a five-day trip to Shanghai, China from October 28th – November 1st courtesy of Stryker Spine, a company dedicated to designing, manufacturing and servicing spine products. He was invited as a visiting professor, stopping first at Shanghai People’s Hospital Number 10, Tongji University, to meet with the Department of Orthopedic Spine Surgery. There he attended patient rounds and gave a lecture entitled, Tips and Techniques for Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion for fellow orthopedic spine surgeons.

Following that visit, Dr. Lipson attended the International Forum of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery as a guest of Professor Lu Yiang at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The forum is held once a year where experts from around the world are invited to discuss the progress, development and applications of minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS). It also helps promote and develop MISS in China. Dr. Lipson lectured on the Relief of Radicular Pain Without Direct Decompression Via Minimally Invasive Instrumentation Techniques.
